Gerlinda established Mirror Image Consultations in Cairns in 2006 and has developed a local, national and international clientele of individuals, businesses and organizations.

Gerlinda is known as a style guru when it comes to wardrobe planning and business dress in the tropics.

As a certified image consultant based in Cairns, Gerlinda is an expert at 'what to wear' and how to look stylish in warm weather climates. Gerlinda is a source for the media and gives advice on tropical fashions, dress codes and other image related topics. Gerlinda’s articles have featured in lifestyle and business magazines.

Gerlinda is a vibrant and versatile presenter. Her workshops are designed to empower participants with the knowledge you can have style and look great no matter your age, weight or body shape.

Why Gerlinda became an image consultant:

“I’ve always enjoyed making others feel beautiful and loved the 7 years I spent working in the retail fashion industry. I went on an overseas trip to Europe and was surprised to see the department stores I visited had personal shoppers. I knew at that moment exactly what I was going to do. On my return to Australia, I contacted The Australian Image Company, flew to Melbourne and was trained by Ann Reinten. It was both daunting and exciting when I resigned from a leading department store to start my own business. I have a whole new perspective towards personal style and discovered image is more than the clothes we wear. I am grateful for the unlimited opportunities this industry offers, it enables me to continue my joy of encouraging others to look and feel beautiful.”

Gerlinda is a member of the Association of Image Consultants International and held the position of VP Marketing for the Sydney Chapter. Gerlinda was also part of the organising committee for the Australian Conference, held in Sydney in Oct 2009. Gerlinda’s determination to develop her skills and knowledge as an image consultant, leads her to travel interstate and overseas regularly to attend AICI conferences.

In May 2008 and May 2009 Gerlinda traveled to the USA for the AICI Annual Conference. Gerlinda is recognized for achieving AICI FLC status. Gerlinda is one of few Image Consultants who have achieved First Level Certification in the state of Queensland. She is also the first TAIC (The Australian Image Company) qualified image consultant in Cairns.
